Digital Storytelling

Page history last edited by John Maklary 14 years, 5 months ago

So, you want to create a digital story? Before you jump head first into the water, there are a few things to consider first. Let's call it The Process. This process will help you effectively design your story before any pictures and/or videos are taken or collected. Planning for your digital story is paramount if you want your story to convey the message you intend. The following steps are loosely taken from John Pederson and David Jakes. I thank them both for sharing their information!

The Process

  • Step One: Gathering Blocks of Information
  • Step Two: Writing a Narrative
  • Step Three: Writing the Script
  • Step Four: Storyboard the Project
  • Step Five: Gather and Organize Multimedia (check out Digital Building Blocks page for resources)
  • Step Six: Create Story
