Game Project Reflection

Reflect on your Gamemaker/Scratch/Alice project.  Not only will your reflection count as a separate 40% grade, it is an opportunity for you to explain what went right and wrong with your project and what you learned from your mistakes. Even if your project didn't turn out the way you wanted, your reflection can still help you earn a better grade, so put your best effort into it.

On your wiki page for your project, answer the following questions:

  1. Did you stick to your original plan and/or script? Why or why not?
  2. Was there anything that you wanted to do that you couldn't figure out how to do? What was it?
  3. What did you like about the project? What did you dislike? Be specific.
  4. If you were to do another project like this, what would you do differently next time?
  5. Is your project complete? If not, what went wrong? Again, be specific.
  6. Is there anything else that I should know about your project before I grade it? Plead your case - even if things went very wrong, tell me what steps you took to troubleshoot and fix it and explain what you learned from the process. Even if you are unhappy with how it turned out, explain to me why you deserve a better grade than the end product might suggest.
